Fully automatic test rig for speed sensors
It’s all about precision.
This project involved the complete development of the test rig by WEBER — from planning through design to setup and qualification testing of the sensors. Functional testing of the speed sensors is carried out through sample testing and as interim testing following climate tests. There are currently three different variants with varying functional scopes, with all types based on the Hall sensor principle.
Technical description
- Test rig – fully automated test rig
- Test program development – in LabVIEW
- Sensor positioning – relative to a multipole encoder wheel
- Frequency and pulse-width measurement – as part of the testing process
- Data evaluation – including voltage measurement
- Automated testing and positioning – of any number of test steps across up to ten sensors via a test sequencer
